Itinerary of the 13 day Motorbike Tour

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu

Today you will be arriving in Kathmandu. Our Tour Travel Nepal team will welcome you from the airport and transfer you to your hotel where you will take some rest. Later we will be discussing the riding adventure either at our office or at your respective hotel. You can take the rest of the day and night  to explore around the streets of Kathmandu. Get plenty of rest as we will be starting our ride from the next day.

Day 2: Ride from Kathmandu to Bandipur 

After your breakfast, we will start our adventure with either a Royal Enfield or a Dirt Bike and start our journey towards Bandipur, an ancient Newari village. We will be riding along the Prithvi Highway today and heading towards the west of Nepal. Shortly after leaving Kathmandu we will be passing by Naubise from where we will be riding straight forward passing Galchhi, Kurintar and Manakamana reaching Mugling. 

From this highway intersection we will continue travelling west crossing a bridge that ends the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. Then after reaching Dumre we will detour over a hill from where we reach Bandipur. You can see a 360 view of Mount Annapurna, Manaslu and Ganesh Himal from here.

Day 3: Ride to Tatopani through Pokhara 

Today after enjoying breakfast with an amazing view of the Himalaya in the morning, we will explore the area and markets of Bandipur. Then we will head towards Pokhara along the Prithvi Highway. From the highway as we reach near Pokhara we will see the Annapurna Range and Machhapuchhre Range in sight. After reaching Pokhara we will have our lunch and then head towards Tatopani. The road continues to be paved until we reach Beni from where the road becomes dusty and hard. From here you will be riding along the mountains passing massive waterfalls and finally reaching Tatopani’s hot spring.

Day 4: Ride from Tatopani to Muktinath

After breakfast in Tatopani, we will be heading to Muktinath today, a sacred Hindu temple. Along the way we see several century-old temples, glacial rivers and many snow-capped mountains. Today’s ride will be fully off road along the beautiful scenery and breathtaking mountains. We will be having our lunch after reaching Jomsom and from there we continue our ride till we reach Muktinath.

Day 5: Ride from Muktinath to Marpha 

We will visit the Muktinath temple early in the morning today. We will do our prayers, offer the offerings and you can also take part in bathing at the 108 taps, believed to clear off all the sins you have committed throughout your life. After the temple visit we return to our hotel, take breakfast and then head towards Marpha. Marpha is a village famous for its apple production. We spend the rest of our day exploring Marpha and tasting its apple products like wine, apple brandy, apple pie and many more.

Day 6: Ride from Marpha to Dhampus

After having an early breakfast in the morning, our ride to Dhampus begins. Today’s ride will take us across the Annapurna range and Dhaulagiri range, we will take the path ascending towards Yak Kharka to the Kaligandaki valley and then arrive at Dhampus. You can explore the village and get insights into the typical Nepali lifestyle of the Himalayas for the rest of the day.

Day 7: Ride from Dhampus to Pokhara via Sarangkot 

We will be leaving Dhampus today and heading towards Pokhara travelling through Sarangkot. After reaching Sarangkot we will see breathtaking views of the Himalayas as Sarangkot is the center of adventure specially known for paragliding .
Then we head to Pokhara from Sarangkot,we will be arriving in the city around afternoon so you can rest and explore the city on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 8: Pokhara city Sightseeing on Motorbike

Today we will be exploring Pokhara the whole day. We will be visiting some of Pokhara's famous sights like Mahendra Cave, Davis fall, Seti river Gorge and many more. 

We will also be boating in the Phewa Lake which perfectly mirrors the Annapurna Mountain Range. From there we will head towards Peace Pagoda which gives breathtaking views of the lakes and mountains surrounding the city and finally end the night by strolling through the night life of Lakeside.

Day 9: Ride from Pokhara to Chitwan

Today after having a warm breakfast,we will be heading towards Chitwan. We will be riding along the Prithivi highway and Tribhuvan Highway witnessing lush green hillsides, terrace farms, rivers like Seti and Narayani and breathtaking mountain views throughout the journey.

After arriving in Chitwan we will check into our hotel and rest for some time then, we will visit the native settlement which is the Tharu Community of Nepal to learn about their lifestyle and culture.

Day 10: Exploring Chitwan National Park

As Chitwan is known for its wildlife, today we will be exploring the wildlife in Chitwan National Park. We will start our day with a jungle stroll where you will see a variety of birds and did you know Nepal has over 900 bird species so do not forget to count how many of those species you witnessed. We will be taking a guided safari tour and head to the Rapti river in the afternoon for an exciting Elephant bathing session. In this safari tour you can witness one-horned rhinos, crocodiles, alligators, deers, peacocks and many more wildlife, if you are lucky you might also encounter a Royal Bengal Tiger, Leopard or a wild boar.

After that we will be canoeing in the Rapti river from where you’ll even be closer to the crocodiles as you and them will be in the same river. In the evening we will be visiting the Elephant breeding center and see how these creatures are taken care of. Be prepared to be amazed by the cuteness of baby elephants in the breeding center.

We will end our evening enjoying a traditional Tharu Cultural Program and a traditional Tharu Cuisine.

Day 11: Ride from Chitwan to Daman

Today after having breakfast we will head towards Daman known for its breathtaking views of some of the giants of Nepal like Mount Everest, The Annapurna Range, Mount Manaslu and Langtang Range. Enjoy the stunning views of the Himalayan Range as we will be staying the night in Daman.

Day 12: Ride to Kathmandu

Today we will be ending our journey heading along the curvy mountains and reaching Kathmandu Valley. After reaching the valley you can take this day to explore the city, buy souvenirs for friends or families and even sightsee the entire city. 

In the evening we will be having a team dinner at a Nepali Restaurant having authentic Nepali food along with a cultural show from where we will bid our goodbyes to you.
